If you’re involved in web design/development much you’ve likely heard terms like progressive enhancement, graceful degradation, mobile stylesheets and responsive design thrown around as options to serving up the right type of experience to the right user/device. Design office, Hugo Manilla, has put some nice research into the pluses and minuses of each approach and has decided that they might even have a better solution, Hands Per Device.

The deck itself is basic (but well done) but the content is well worth diving into if you’re into this sort of things.

A very well done set of slides on social influence sent in by Harp Advertising + Interactive that include some pretty decent stats on social usage among consumers. The only negative I could say about this deck is that I just wish there was more of it; worth your time.

It’s been a bit since we’ve thrown a sketched presentation out there. Just something to change it up a bit and show that it doesn’t all have to be Flickr images and bold colors. Definitely wouldn’t work well in many situations but there are a few audiences it would be perfect for.

This one by Abby Covert was a little something to show some students the importance of the role of UX. Hope they learned something.
